These Spine Patches are perfect for adding new info/updates to your previously purchased Locketts Traditional Albums.

You simply choose the style of album you already own at home, and what Spine Section you would like a patch for. Spine Section 1 is the top, and Spine Section 4/5 is the bottom. (Small & Large Portrait Albums have 5 Spine Sections.)

WHAT ALBUMS DOES THIS SERVICE COVER? Previously purchased Large Landscape, Large Portrait, Medium Landscape, Small Portrait, Traditional Large Square and Traditional Extra Large albums. (These last two were formerly known as Hungerford and Extra Large Hungerford Albums.) Don't know what album you own? Send a picture to us and we will tell you.

YOUR SPINE PATCH PERSONALISATION OPTIONS (See Photo Examples): There is a limited amount we can block on a Spine Patch, but (along with the picture examples) here is a quick guide:

EXAMPLES OF DATES: 2024 / 05.10.24 / 5.10.2024 / 2023 - 2025 (over 3 lines with hyphen in the middle)

SHORT NAMES: Max 5 letters i.e. Tom / Harry / CLIVE etc OR Tom & Anne (over 3 lines with ampersand in the middle)

INITIALS: Max 4 Initials with or without full stops. I.e. JGHL / J.G.H. L. / J.K.L. & M.K.L. (over 3 lines with ampersand in the middle) You can combine initials with dates.

Foils: Gold, Silver or Copper Foils. Font: Our classic Ariel 9mm high

NOTE: There are some characters that we can't block - such as emojis, hashtag, @ symbol and diacritics (accents above letters).

EASY ORDERING: First choose what album you already have, and the colour of it, so we can select and size the correct spine patch. Then type what you require for your spine patch in the correct section - remember Spine Section 1 is at the top.

HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SPINE PATCH: Your new Spine Patch will be cut to size depending on your chosen album and spine section. We do not provide the glue. But a good quality PVA will suffice. You must spread it generously but evenly on the back of the spine patch. Wait until tacky, then present it to the correct spine section of the album, press and hold. Leave to cure and set. We do not recommend using hot glue methods or superglue, these set way too quickly, they don't allow an even spread and give little or no chance of movement should you need to make adjustments. Excess PVA should simply rub off once dry.
